In this video installation, Sean Bosman explores physical literacy and the freedom to be found in being inarticulate. Referencing latin american dance this work searches for a geographically induced incompetence and the relationships between movement, place and sound.
Sean Bosman is a New Zealand based artist whose work spans installation, video, sound, text, curation and design. Often employing found and generated poetry, performative film, distributed publication, digital song composition, and the creation of temporary gallery spaces he explores their interdependence and their ability to be reactive to each other, their environment and their audience.
